Overview​


The Urban Tech Republic and Schumacher Quartier represent one of Berlin’s largest urban development projects, reimagining the former Tegel Airport site. The plan combines a high-tech innovation hub with a sustainable, livable residential district.

Urban Tech Republic will focus on applied research and emerging technologies, while Schumacher Quartier will provide 5,000 climate-neutral homes with schools, parks, and local services. Sustainability and circular economy principles guide the entire development.
