[BERLIN] Flussbad Berlin | Urban River Pool Regeneration

Overview​

Flussbad Berlin is a pioneering urban regeneration project aiming to turn a 1.8-kilometer section of the Spree Canal into a public, eco-friendly swimming area. Located near Museum Island, the project is developed by the architecture collective realities:united.

The design combines environmental restoration with new public leisure spaces, using natural filtration zones to clean the river water without chemicals. Once completed, Flussbad Berlin will offer Berliners a unique green recreational area in the very center of the city.
